Description
Join us Saturday during the Umoja Festival for a free one hour tour that includes a visit to the Portsmouth Colored Community Library Museum. The featured exhibit is called “Art is Revolutionary” and showcases the icons, innovators, and trailblazers in the arts from around Hampton Roads. You will also be treated to a performance of Ella Fitzgerald songs by Kensie B. and her band. Transportation is provided from the festival grounds to the museum and back. The tour is free.
Tour times are 2 PM, 3 PM, and 4 PM. Board the bus in front of City Hall. You may also drive and attend the event on your own. Busses are limited to 55 seats.
