About Jae Sinnett Trio

Jae Sinnett came to Virginia in the mid-70’s to serve in the United States Navy, and lucky for us he decided to stay. Evolving into a consummate drummer, composer and bandleader, he has produced 19 albums to rave reviews. The 2005 release of “Sinnett Hearings” debuted at number one on the national jazz radio charts, and The Jae Sinnett Trio CD “Altered Egos”, was released in 2021. The JMCC perfomrance will feature pianist Dr. Weldon Hill and bassist Terry Burrell. Jae has written over 250 compositions and has scored music for five documentaries. He has performed with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra as well as with some of the jazz greats including Joe Henderson, Freddie Hubbard, and Chuck Mangione.

The Zelma G. Riven Wonderful Wednesdays Music Series also features:
